BETWEEN WORLDS
Hans Fuecker is a pianist, composer, arranger and producer whose creative life has rarely followed a straight line.
Classically trained as a pianist in Maastricht, the Netherlands, and later studying composition and jazz trombone in Cologne, Germany, he grew up between worlds that are often kept apart: classical music and jazz, orchestral writing and improvisation, popular music and the freedom of the piano.
A LIFE IN MUSIC
Over the years, this versatility has taken him from concert stages and jazz ensembles to radio orchestras, television productions and recording studios.
As a pianist, arranger and musical director he has worked with musicians, singers and ensembles across jazz, Latin, pop and orchestral music — among them Buddy DeFranco, Dusko Goykovich, Mel Lewis, Hans Peter Salentin, Milva, Max Mutzke and the WDR Funkhausorchester.
His arranging work has ranged from big bands and symphony orchestras to television productions and commissioned projects.

"Different influences.
A coherent voice."

What happens when all these
experiences are allowed to meet?
That question is at the heart of Jubitone.

FROM COLOGNE TO LISBON
A place where musical ideas
no longer need a genre.
Today Hans is based in Lisbon, Portugal, and develops Jubitone as a space where solo piano, jazz improvisation, minimal compositions, electronic textures and cinematic soundscapes can coexist.

AND THEN THERE IS THE JUBITONE TRIO
Jubitone Trio brings together piano, double bass and drums in a musical dialogue shaped by improvisation, atmosphere and storytelling. Inspired by French Nouvelle Vague cinema and the world of Léo Malet’s detective Nestor Burma, the trio transforms these influences into contemporary piano-trio music.
Jazz, classical influences and an openness to the unexpected meet in original compositions and creative interpretations — creating music that feels cinematic, spontaneous and distinctly its own.
“Three
voices.
One
conversation.”
Not a category to fit into.
An invitation to curiosity, concentration, imagination — and sometimes simply the pleasure of listening.
Jubitone has become less a stylistic label than a personal universe.
